Stained Glass Project 33, 34 from Virtual Quilter

Love the first design, and there is space for quilting, but I think I would just squiggle it to make it look like the background ‘glass’ is mottled in colour with a slightly rough texture.

I wonder if tiles could be made in odd shapes, then use coloured grout?

Of course, they could also be wall hangings.

Stained Glass Diamonds 13, 14 from Virtual Quilter

I would love to live with stained glass windows, and I do have a small hanger, and a butterfly which sticks to a window. Not quite the real deal, but about as close as I will get unless we win the lottery!

Perhaps I should do a few suitable designs and keep them on standby just in case.

My favourite of these two is the second one … I think!

I can see clearly today … somebody must have washed the stained glass windows … wasn’t me!

Love the brighter colours in these two compared to yesterdays designs.

Looks like we are looking in, or looking out on a dull day.

I have other projects I am playing with at the moment so this one will have to stay on the list for awhile.

Always nice to have something on the ‘to do’ list.

Stained Glass Diamonds 9, 10 from Virtual Quilter

Looks a bit like the green stuff in my garden at the moment, as we have had some heavy rain and thunderstorms over the last couple of days, and all the dirt and dust has been washed off the green bits.

The flowers are also nice and clean … pity rain doesn’t work like the inside the house!

Interesting.

Much more interesting.

I think those narrow curved lines could be done with narrow strips of fabric plus fusible cut on the bias … and ironed on to the background very carefully.

Love this project file and every one of the twenty or so designs in it.

The one above is one of my favourites amongst all the favourites.

I am spending hours of my days at home sorting blocks, and am tempted to have a look at these blocks today, but they have already had their turn.
